to the website of the Foundation of German Business (Stiftung der Deutschen Wirtschaft), also known under its abbreviation SDW, which provides educational and career guidance programmes and projects for young people. - Through the Klaus Murmann Fellowship Programme (Studienförderwerk Klaus Murmann), SDW sponsors excellent undergraduate students and doctoral candidates, who receive scholarships and participate in comprehensive auxiliary activities accompanying their course of studies.
- In the spring of 2007 SDW launched a fellowship programme for students training to be teachers. This Studienkolleg is directed particularly towards students who aspire to become teachers and who at an early stage want to assume responsibility in school.
- The foundation’s Studienkompass programme provides educational and career guidance for secondary school students. It offers orientation in choosing a course of study and accompanies and supports the young people throughout their first year at university.
- In School & Business projects (SCHULEWIRTSCHAFT), SDW cooperates with teachers and principals of schools. Together they try out new methods of instruction and school management to improve the quality of the schools. Companies are important partners in these projects.
On the following website pages, we invite you to inform yourselves in more detail about SDW and its activities. New partners and members in the supporting association are always welcome. If you are interested in supporting us or would like to cooperate with us in any of our programmes, please contact us!
